INFORMATION

At some point, you might find it that you've done all that you can with your character icly, but one of the current dropping options doesn't feel like a satisfying conclusion. Or perhaps you need your character to develop in a different way, but the current progression of the game icly doesn't match what you need. Or perhaps you've completed your arc and are ready for something new.

There are now a list of options that your character can ICly pursue as needed. These are options that are meant to facilitate characters who need to move on.

When you're ready to hit endgame, you just need to notate it in the drop page. You can either then ask me to create you a specific flavored endgame post or do it yourself if you want one! It's not a requirement of course, but it's an option in case you want to tie up any loose ends.

If you have a dropped character and would like to update it to an endgame option, that's okay! You can do that! Just notate it in the drop page.

I am not going to put a strict requirement of "ooc time played" or "memory regains" here just because I think most people aren't really swapping in and out of characters at this time. I would prefer people not to app a character for two weeks and then drop through endgame, but like if it's an OC, no one is going to come up and app your OC so lol, who can stop you!!

There is no true option for players to go STRAIGHT home at this time. This is just how the plot is right now and I cannot bend that icly, but that doesn't mean going home will never happen! It will just happen near the end when the entire game is in endgame. If you headcanon it different on your end, hey! Live your best life! This is just ICly in game, the narrative will not have "going home" options right away.

• The difference between other endgames and this one is that some options will allow you to icly come back to the ship if you really want to. Please keep in mind, coming back is not EASY in a lot of cases, but it's doable! Email me if that is something you need to do.

Those are the current rules and are subject to change. So now! The following endgame options are currently available:

Become a Producer for the Showmaster.
ICly, Showmaster will start taking Producers under her wing from the third generation (aka you all). Due to recent events, she feels like she needs to prep for the fourth generation. Producers are 100% under the Showmaster’s control. Originally, they were given the chance to "escape" the performances, and in exchange of their true name, they gained relief from the trauma they would experience.

It's a little different for third gen. Trauma escape is not the requirement. Some people might not have went through a great deal of trauma, but maybe they want power. Maybe they want to get closer to the Showmaster. Maybe they want better smooch access with one of the Producers! Whatever it is, they have their own reasons and the Showmaster will not reject them this time.

OOC note, this does not require gamerunning but you certainly can! You will continue to exist on the boat, but you would be "out of play" aka you're not required to thread if you do not want to. Producers have their own floor.

Your character would have to ICly come up to her for this, but if you really, really want this option but have no idea how to make it work, email me!

Become a Storyteller for the Ticketmaster.

The basic requirement is that your character HAS to be willing to give up the family bond that they have or have a desire to connect to the Ticketmaster in some way. One day, your character will wake up to find pages of "their canon story" all around them, drenched in salt water, leading them "out" of wherever they are. No one else but the character can see these pages.

They'll feel the urge to follow their pages until they find themselves finding "the stairs" and they'll climb all the way down until they find the "Ticketmaster's Domain". They'll have a page of the Ticketmaster's story (email me if you want this info!) and she'll mention that she's trying to recruit other "storytellers" for her goal. If you accept, you will no longer be part of your old family, but actually become An Author. You would then have the option of helping the Ticketmaster with things like finding visions for the performers and if you want to run an event, you can. You will continue to exist on the boat.

OOC note, this does not require eventrunning but you certainly can! You will continue to exist on the boat, but you would be "out of play" aka you're not required to thread if you do not want to. Storytellers are hidden in Ticketmaster's domain.

Find Your Way Home Through the Ocean.

Thanks to the efforts of many, the ocean is more or less "awake". For those who are either extremely homesick or looking for their memories or trying to connect "to their other life", they'll find a voice calling to them in their dreams, in their daily lives, wherever they are, they'll hear it.

"I'm sorry for it all. I can try to lead you to what you are looking for."

And you'll find an invitation to "Find Yourself" and in it, it says you simply need to go to the elevator, but once you go, it might be difficult to return. It takes you down to the lowest floor of the boat, which is a glass aquarium and you can see an open door that you can walk through.

When you walk through the ocean, you'll find you can breathe fine, and you can speak to the ocean as you do. If you ever have doubts about this option, you'll find that visions that you haven't had slowly returning back as you travel further. As you travel, you can even find "pages" but instead of pages, it's little snippets of your canon world (or even pg world if you want) moving along in the present. You can actually even speak/connect to these by either writing on the pages or just voicing what you need to through the pages. Once you collect everything, the ocean promises to find a way to send you back to where you belong if you so wish.

This is a generalized idea of what can happen, but it can be adjusted and customized as needed!

Explore the Boat

The boat is massive, but everyone is contained to mostly a few floors. Nana, however, has been working hard behind the scenes to make it where guests can now explore beyond that. For every task that the characters have done icly, for every gift, for every kind word, it has increased "Nana's Satisfaction Ability". The higher it is, the more things she has "access to" to help "satisfy" others (not like that though). She cannot explore things on her own, but she wants to give everybody the chance to find what it is that they need.

She warns though that it is very hard to bring people back without the Showmaster noticing so she wants you to know that once you're gone, you might be gone for a while.

You can communicate with other players and explore if you'd like, but you're essentially "out of play". I have a bunch of lore bits that will probably never show before endgame so if you want some fun facts to throw out here, feel free to poke me anytime (just don't do this everyday).

Return back to Estoria
This one isn't much different. Nana also gives people an option to 'return' making up some kind of excuse for them to do so. She cannot do this often so that's why she doesn't just offer it to EVERYBDOY, but slowly she's trying to help those who want to return back home and keep them there for as long as possible, hoping they won't be dragged back.

Just like with the option above, characters can either just remain and live blissfully at home, but they can also investigate for clues and lore that have been erased prior. Again, you can communicate with other players and explore if you'd like, but you're essentially "out of play". I have a bunch of lore bits that will probably never show before endgame so if you want some fun facts to throw out here, feel free to poke me anytime (just don't do this everyday).

OTHER OPTIONS
If NONE of these fit whatsoever, but you have an idea, please email me and I'll see if there's something I can do for you! Likewise, if the above options are close to what you want but want a couple other things added on, let me know!

Whatever choice you make, please note, your character will eventually reach "home" (whatever that is to the character) once Limelight, the game, is over, regardless of what option you choose. They cannot go back to the world straight away yet, but they will eventually reach their home the same time as everyone else.
