Rather than going fully invisible, Tim becomes unnoticeable. People’s attention slides away from him, they don’t look at him, and thus don’t see him. They don’t hear him, either, unless he shouts to grab their attention. He does show up on camera, but his image is a glitchy mess, so he is unrecognisable - someone was there, but who? At first this power is hard for him to control - he can turn it on and off, but if it’s on, everyone around him is affected, even his friends and teammates. As he gets better control, he will be able to stay camouflaged but let certain people notice him without having to shout at them, and imbue objects with his power so that they are left unnoticed, even if they’re sitting out in the open. Eventually, he will be able to use his power not just to avoid notice but to draw it onto himself instead.
