Abyssus Abyssum Invocat (utility)

His shadow can turn into an inescapable pit. He can drop things into it and they'll be consumed. This includes living things, but he can't put a volume in there bigger than a standard fridge. He can control the effect so something sinks slowly (and has a chance of being pulled free), or drops in instantly.

This has three limitations!
- very small AOE--whatever he wants to eat with it has to be within like, 6-8 feet of him, and has to actually be placed on his shadow to get consumed. This Blessing works best in the dark (in which case the whole area around him is a shadow) and is affected by area lighting otherwise.
- if he fills up its size capacity quickly, his shadow will revert to normal and the Blessing will go on a 24-hour cooldown. It can't just eat stuff without limit.
- once he puts something all the way in there it is permanently gone. Imagine if he accidentally dropped his wallet and keys. I guess if he uses this on a living person on the boat some fuckery would happen to let them revive/reform though.
