Parisa can open a portal that will transport herself and those she trusts and feels safe with to a previously-known, safe location- so like, after a trauma game, she could bring the holy order (trusted family) back to their cabin (safe, known location). She can't use it to go anywhere new and if she's not in danger it's a bit more cumbersome to use so she can't and doesn't just abuse the portal willy-nilly. The more unsafe she feels, the easier it is to open it though.
