limited shapeshifting; he can turn into a perfect physical copy of any living being he touches, complete with instincts. it does not include memories or specialized knowledge—anything that requires practice will require him to practice—and he has to somehow be touching whoever or whatever he wants to turn into. the transformation will revert if he lets go / otherwise loses contact before it's done so it can fail as needed, but it does work with clothes to let him be a little tricksy about it.

i dunno if it needs a time limit since activation is so specific, but if so: it only lasts like two hours tops and maybe sometimes he can't turn back on his own so he has to wait it out? this would probably operate on rule of funny.

also, idk if this would have to count as a separate power: can he still talk regardless of form, kinda like one-way telepathy? (if this sounds familiar, yes, i am stealing from animorphs.) if not, feel free to ignore bc i am happy to live the charades life as well 🫡
