(Shares the blanket downsides mentioned in an earlier comment) SUMMARY: Heartfelt: The ability to open up a link for sharing thoughts and feelings. It's essentially a private group chatroom at the cost of emotionshare.
DETAILS: The emotionshare is not optional and will be at LEAST surface level. The chatroom is basically telepathy, but it's kinda like texting since a participant can usually backspace/consciously decide whether or not to send the thought (unless they're really upset or smth).
In maybe a few ways it's more convenient or private than using phones, and it's probably good for syrupy heart-to-heart conversations thanks to the emotionshare...
...but also, even if you don't count the emotionshare as a downside, it comes with some other issues. Such as: 1: The chatrooms can get split into more private mini-chatrooms, but it's never entirely private because Lala will always be present in every conversation as the "host". 2: It can get prohibitively loud in Lala's head if there are too many convos going on at once and he'll be rendered useless. 3: In order to enter the chatroom, someone has to tell Lala the keyword every single time, and the keyword is some variation on declaring themselves a princess. 4: Participants can leave whenever they like so the emotionshare can only be used on willing (or properly coerced) participants, it's not very good for PVP
