CELLPHONES AND TECHNOLOGY
Cellphones work similar to the way our cellphones work. There are apps, games, messages, emails, anonymous forums, the internets, etc. You can find answers to your basic questions (though you can't always trust what you see on the net), but you can't find EVERYTHING. No, you cannot watch a youtube tutorial on being a surgeon and magically become a surgeon. However, it can help you learn how to change oil in a car, sure.
AKA don't use it to circumvent fun rp stuff okay!
While anyone can get a personal phone, family communication happens on the family assigned phone. Everyone who joins a family gets a phone! They can use it for personal business and never have to get a separate phone if they do not want to. However, all family chats are confidential and cannot be shared no matter how much one tries.
That said, you can NOT find anything about your past lives, anything about amnesia folk, and weirdly enough, anything related to the Limelight Theater.
Technology works similar as well. It's modern! There are cars, computers, wireless cell phones, the works. Modern fantasy tech can also exist if it's reasonable. No, you cannot get on a plane that can go directly into space, but if you want a floating bobble robot, that's fine. Tech that adds flavor and fun is ok! Tech that is going to break the game is no no!
