ACHIEVEMENTS RE-WORK
The way achievements work is as follows:
Nana will use her own powers to allow players to facilitate and help themselves and be less reliant on others and herself. Basically, each family will have their own “bulk tasks” that they can do and once these tasks are satisfied, they will either receive it immediately by delivery or for larger items, they will “dream” about it and wake up with the item inside their home, right by their front door delivered in pretty packages.
Each team will have their own set of tasks that they can accomplish which we will call achievements. These will not change every month like it used to (once upon a time…), but instead there will be a whole list of general themes that you can work with! Some should promote family cr and some should promote cross-family cr. The only limit is some items will have a cap so you don’t end up getting 1000000 cars a day and also to limit characters icky who might go harder than our ooc bodies can handle.
If you have more suggestions, let me know in this post under your team headers! Please keep in mind, tasks are not 10000% going to be locked to one family. They are also not required to be 10000% on family themes at all the times.
Things you cannot get from achievements alone at this time:
◆ Boat adjustments / rooms.
◆ Full room-size upgrades and renovations (some adjustments to rooms like furniture and stuff is okay).
◆ Healing items.
◆ Unique Magical items that did not exist previously.
◆ Plot-related items.
◆ Animals.
Ask Nana for those.
For Locations and Location Unlocks, they too will get a slight revamp due to the achievement changes. Every OOC month (or at least an ic week), families will need to do a specific task to temporarily access these facilities.
However! If they want to unlock one specific location unlock permanently, they can request that from Showmaster and perform a game of their own OR they can be given a large-scale quest (so you don't have to rely on me if you want!!!!!). Ping me if you want to do one and I'll schedule you in.
Please note, if one family like Forge unlocks the Weapons Room permanently, other teams can do the same, but you do have to share the space.
