HIATUS AND DROPS
Hiatuses and Drops
✯ Hiatuses
Sometimes we're just busy and can't rp! Or sometimes we need an rp break and just want to focus on video games! Sometimes we just don't have a reason! Hiatuses in this game are perfectly legal!
✦ For hiatuses, if it's 2 weeks or so, we request you try to meet around half of the required AC! If the hiatus is more than 2 weeks, you don't have to worry about A/C at all for the month.
✦ If you skip filling out AC the previous month, you must meet it next month unless there's extraneous circumstances in which case, please DM a mod or send us an email to let us know.
For IC reasons, you can do the following:
✦ Nana asked you to help her with chores, this can be paperwork or cleaning!!
✦ You got LOST on a different part of the ship (the ship is very big).
✦ You can go on autopilot if the hiatus isn't too long!
✦ You followed a shadow of an unknown person that moved along the wall and down a mysterious hallway, entrancing you to keep following it.
✦ SPECIAL EVENT, if you ever want an excuse to have a mini-event, I'll get you one.

If you drop, that's okay! Things happen, it's fine and understandable. You're always welcome to reapply! That said, if you drop, that doesn't mean you necessarily can't tag. Depending on the option, you can still DM/PM icly to your CR.

✦ Your character falls asleep and is taken to the medic unit.
✦ Your character is taken away and placed on another part of the boat.
✦ SPECIAL EVENT, if you have an idea for an alternative, or would like to discuss it, let me know! We can see what the options are.

IC DROP DATE: Sometime during Landfall! So between Day 253 and whenever it ICly ends.
METHOD: "The Showmaster is giving you an opportunity that needs to be done outside of the ship. She asks you to find a “particular story” that’s been lost and needs to be found. She gives you hints to where the stories might be. If accepted, they cannot come back to the boat for the time being, but are told they can come back once the task is done."
If this affects anything he was also independently planning to stay ashore to look for more clues as to the Devourer that got his memories, so hopefully that could be made compatible with this drop method?
