MEMORIES
✨MEMORIES AND REGAINING THEM
Every character in this world is affected between one of two different afflictions.
One, they have alternate memories. their memories were completely tampered with and were replaced with alternate memories. These alternate memories are made up lives within the world Estoria that said characters believe in fully. To them, this IS their true self and this has always been the life they live. They were born in the world Estoria, they are a part of their organization, this is who they are.
Two, they have amnesia. Their memories are gone. They believe they were afflicted with amnesia, a thing that can happen to those born near the beaches of Seastar Ocean. For those who decide to escape the Ocean, their memories are left behind. All that's left is the desire to build new memories in the new world, and organizations pick them up cuz it's easy to get them to mold into their lifestyle.
As they participate in shows and performances on the limelight stage, they'll have opportunities to regain memories. As they regain memories, slowly but surely they'll start to wonder what's going on and start to question their lives.
However, if they try to tell others about what is happening to them, they might not believe them ESPECIALLY if they've just arrived on the ship. Only those who have experienced similar memory regains will be able to accept the possibility that their memories have been tampered with.
